Rainy Day Hair

So it’s very rare that I actually take the time to do my hair, but when it does happen I want to be as quick and painless as possible.

So my go to “rainy day hair” is almost effortless.

I start by gathering the sections of hair and tying them back with a small elastic-

hair

Then I’ll pull from the front of my hair to loosen and adjust- making it a bit messy & making sure it’s not too tight.

Then, I gather all of my hair back into a ponytail- the sectioned pieces included.

Making sure to adjust the ponytail to my liking.

Then, I’ll twist my ponytail back into a loose bun.

Then, go in with these super cool twisted bobby pins made especially for buns

Twisting one into the top & one into the bottom.

Then, one more time, l’ll adjust my hair to my liking – pulling out some pieces from the front & making it a bit messy..

And there you have it, an effortless messy bun, casual enough for a rainy day in LA or dressed up enough for a night out with friends.
