Quite frequently I find myself being asked the same question over and over again, “Why are you always in San Francisco?”
To be honest, I don’t have an exact answer, but one thing I know for sure is that the food keeps me coming back.
It’s no secret that I love food and SF seems to have it all figured out. And I’m sure you all are wondering why I keep rambling on and on about San Francisco, but trust me–you’re going to want to hear this.
If you’re as addicted to coffee as I am, then Ritual Coffee Roasters is worth the visit. This tiny shop on the corner of Haight, between Masonic and Central Avenue. It boasts of great coffee, even better pastries, and a view of the Haight district–which is pretty hard to beat. In a city that rarely rests, it is a perfect spot to sit and stop for a moment to enjoy the surrounding energy.
However, every serious coffee drinker knows there is a delicate balance between too much coffee and not enough food. And that’s where Brenda’s French Soul Food Kitchen comes in. Located in the Tenderloin District, this whole in the wall has some of the greatest dishes you will ever try. From the seafood frittata to the original, chocolate, and even crawfish beignets–these dishes are flavorful and life changing–Yes, life changing, I promise you.
San Francisco has way more to offer than the Golden Gate Bridge–from its contagious energy to the lattes made with love–SF is an adventure waiting in your own backyard.
Until Next Time,
